# Server providers

> Connect DigitalOcean so TunnelFleet can create droplets and install the agent for you.

Server providers let TunnelFleet create VPN servers on your cloud account. You authorize access once. After that, you can create servers from the dashboard without SSH or pasting an IP.

Droplet and VPS costs are billed directly by your provider. TunnelFleet does not charge for the cloud machine.

## Connect DigitalOcean

Owners and admins can connect a provider.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Server providers">
    In your organization, go to **Settings → Server providers**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect DigitalOcean">
    Click **Connect DigitalOcean** (or **Add provider**). TunnelFleet sends you to DigitalOcean to authorize access.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Authorize TunnelFleet">
    Sign in to DigitalOcean if needed. Approve **read** and **write** access, then choose the DigitalOcean **team** TunnelFleet should use.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Return to TunnelFleet">
    After approval, you land back on **Server providers**. Your DigitalOcean profile appears in the list.
  </Step>
</Steps>

You can connect more than one DigitalOcean profile if you use multiple teams.

## Disconnect a provider

On **Settings → Server providers**, open **···** next to a profile and choose **Disconnect**.

Disconnect removes the stored connection from TunnelFleet. Existing servers stay in TunnelFleet. New DigitalOcean servers for that profile cannot be created until you reconnect.

You can also revoke TunnelFleet from your DigitalOcean account. API calls then fail until you reconnect in TunnelFleet.

## Next steps

After DigitalOcean is connected:

1. Open **Servers → Create Server**
2. Choose the **DigitalOcean** tab
3. Pick region, size, OS, and protocols

TunnelFleet creates the droplet and installs the agent automatically. You do not need SSH. See [Create server](/docs/servers/create-server) and [Deploy your first server](/docs/getting-started/deploy-your-first-server).
